Delhi finished 11th overall in the Women’s T20; The results of the women’s T20Is are the best. Delhi were led by a century from their opening batter Tanisha Singh , who smashed 119 off just 47 balls. Her 38-ball century was the third-fastest hundred recorded in women’s T20 tournaments, behind Kiran Navgire (34 balls) and Sophie Devine (36), and tied with Deandra Dottin, who achieved it against South Africa in 2010.

Tanisha, 23, smoked 25 fours and a six despite losing her opening partner Vanshika Lila early on. Tanisha and Indian international Priya Punia, Delhi’s number 1. 3, then made a 160-run stand in just 66 balls, taking Delhi past 175.

Punia dropped 59 off 28 balls and Shweta Sehrawat hit 26 off eight balls with three sixes to take them past 200. Next to fall was Tanisha, played by G Trisha, ahead of cameos from Nazma Khan and Deeksha Sharma, and Ctain Soni Yadav’s 15 brought them the record total. Vanka Pooja was the standout performer for Hyderabad, taking 4 for 32 in her four overs.

The other seven bowlers lost at least 11 runs per over. Thanks to opener Trisha, Hyderabad got off to a good start in the chase. But despite Trisha’s 80 off 52 balls, they couldn’t match Delhi’s strike rate.

Only one other batsman – ctain Pranavi Chandra – crossed 20 as Hyderabad were restricted to 154 for 8 in a 108-run defeat.
